Cynicism My judgment as objective and merciless as the passage of time, Quickly ages my relationships with human beings, Causing these fragile unions to wither and eventually die. Leaving only a residual, bitter, sour taste of loneliness An psychologically unhealthy repast on which I in solitary dine.

I have been too quick to judge and too high in my expectations, and it has only led to loneliness and broken dreams. I finally learned another lesson, at another great price.
